Creshendo is seeking a senior research and content strategist to help design and launch a focused research and publishing function.

We operate at the intersection of migration, storytelling, and economic mobility. Our programs generate valuable insights from real communities. We now need a clear structure to translate those insights into strong, public-facing thought leadership.

Over a 6–8 week engagement, the volunteer will help us:

-Define a clear content and editorial strategy with monthly themes
-Establish a consistent voice and positioning for research outputs
-Design a structure for translating program data and lived experience into insight-driven content
-Create a publishing approach for Substack and external visibility
-Outline how to collaborate with program and M&E teams to gather inputs
-Recommend a structure for managing a small editorial team

Key deliverables include a content strategy document, editorial framework, publishing plan, and team structure recommendations.

This is a short-term project focused on building a system that our team can implement and sustain.
Creshendo’s work depends on our ability to capture and share insights from the communities we serve. A strong publishing system ensures that these insights are not lost and can inform broader conversations.

By helping us build this workflow, you will enable us to operate more consistently, support contributors more effectively, and strengthen the quality and reach of our work.
You will work with our Executive Director and research team. We will provide:

Current content examples and draft materials
Access to contributors and team leads
Insight into how content is currently developed and managed

We are organized, collaborative, and ready to implement. We are looking for someone who can bring structure and clarity to a growing function.
