Our mission is aligned with the UN SDG Goal 4 “Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all” (https://sdgs.un.org/goals/goal4). Saamarthya exists primarily to provide high-quality support and services to children with disabilities (with IDD and ASD, in particular) and their families. This means providing direct intervention services and group activities to children, individual counseling support, and group training to families. We believe that every child with a disability deserves a childhood full of joy, learning, and belonging. We believe in rights-based education for children with disabilities and that inclusion is the birthright of every child.
