Accounting Systems and Tax Preparation Refinement

We're looking for a volunteer with experience with Wave Accounting and Filing 990EZs. You'll help us refine our current set up and help us review last year's tax filing and prepare this year's. We welcome advice and guidance on refining how we do things. In our first meeting, we'll share a detailed description of our existing financial record-keeping and reporting systems. In phase one of the project, you'll outline a plan of recommendations for us to incorporate. In the second phase of our project, you will provide one or two of our team members with basic training. We ask that you make yourself available for up to two weeks to address our questions as we adjust to the new software and systems.

Our accounting and taxes systems being simple helps us continue to exist and serve people by building robots for everyone. We can also identify which campaigns and revenue models are succeeding and be more aligned with our community's needs.

We are pretty much prepared with Mercury and Wave records already set up and organized. We're mostly wanting feedback on what we can do better as well as simplifying the process of going from Wave to filing our taxes.
