A reviewed and annotated version of the existing employee handbook with focused feedback and suggested updates to PTO, leave of absence, and benefits language. Deliverables include written recommendations, suggested policy text, and a short gap-list of missing or unclear items. Details will be provided during volunteer interviews.
Stronger, clearer policies that support work–life balance will help staff wellbeing and retention so frontline teams can reliably serve families affected by domestic violence. Volunteer expertise will directly improve employee support and the organization’s ability to provide coordinated services under Anew’s mission.
Our new CEO supports updating benefits and the handbook which has not been reviewed in over a year. Volunteers will be given the current handbook and benefit materials and can meet with staff to clarify context. We will collaborate to prioritize recommended changes so they can be implemented.
