DigniWay Data Tracking & Systems Optimization for Compliance and Reporting

DigniWay is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit seeking support to refine and strengthen our internal data tracking systems for compliance, reporting, and sustainability.

We currently track services through Google Forms and Google Sheets, including individuals served, program participation (VOICE, EDU, CARE), and community outreach efforts. However, our system needs professional review to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability for grant reporting and state compliance.

We are looking for a volunteer to:
• Audit and clean up existing Google Sheets
• Review and fix formulas without restructuring the system
• Create simple dashboards to track totals (individuals served, services provided)
• Improve organization of our data collection process
• Set up protections to prevent accidental edits

All services have been provided free of charge, and much of our work includes in-kind contributions and community-based outreach that we want to better capture and report.

We are not starting from scratch—our systems are already in place but need refinement and optimization.

This project will directly strengthen DigniWay’s ability to serve and advocate for underserved individuals and families by ensuring our impact is accurately tracked, organized, and communicated.

Currently, much of our work—including educational support, advocacy, and direct assistance—is provided free of charge and often through in-kind contributions and community outreach. While the impact is real, it is not always fully captured in a structured way that meets reporting and compliance standards.

By improving our data systems, this project will allow us to clearly demonstrate how many individuals we serve, what services are provided, and the outcomes of our work. This is critical for securing grant funding, maintaining compliance, and sustaining our programs long-term.

Ultimately, this support will help us move from reactive service delivery to a more sustainable and scalable model—allowing DigniWay to expand its reach, strengthen its operations, and continue restoring dignity and stability in the communities we serve.

We will provide access to specific Google Sheets and Forms relevant to this project.

We have existing data and tracking systems in place, along with clear program categories (VOICE, EDU, CARE).

The organization’s leadership will be available to answer questions, provide context, and collaborate throughout the project.

Access will be limited to ensure data security and confidentiality.
