Small Dog Rescue With Big Stories Needs Someone to Tell Them

Legacy Paws Rescue is a veteran-owned 501(c)(3) nonprofit dog rescue and sanctuary in Catawba, North Carolina. We have real animals, real stories, and a mission worth sharing — and almost no one is seeing any of it. Our posts get little reach, our following is small, and the founder who runs everything alone does not have the time or the social media knowledge to fix it.

We need a social media professional to take what we have and turn it into a presence that actually works. We have dogs who need homes, a sponsorship program, a fundraising campaign, educational products, and a sanctuary worth showing the world. The content is here. The strategy and execution are not.

We are fully prepared to support this project. We can provide photos, videos, written stories, and whatever additional content the volunteer needs to work with. We will say yes to every reasonable request for material and turn it around quickly. We just need someone who knows what to do with it.

We are looking for help with any or all of the following — the volunteer can tell us where their skills are strongest and we will build around that:
Content planning and posting calendar
Writing captions and calls to action
Growing our audience on Facebook and Instagram
Increasing post reach and engagement
Telling individual dog stories in a way that moves people to foster, adopt, and donate
Building awareness around our sponsorship and fundraising needs

Every dog we have needs a foster or forever home. Every dog we pull needs funding to cover their care. If people cannot find us or feel nothing when they do, we cannot place animals or pay vet bills. Social media is how a rescue with no advertising budget gets seen. Right now we are invisible. The right person behind our accounts could change everything for the animals depending on us.

I will give you everything you ask for. Photos, videos, dog bios, behind the scenes content, whatever you need — I will get it to you. I will not be a bottleneck. I will respond quickly, follow your lead on strategy, and implement every recommendation. Tell me what you need from me and it will be there.
