We are looking for a volunteer graphic designer to create a package of much needed branded materials. The project deliverables are as follows:

Design a logo for the research registry (aligned with existing brand guidelines)
Create a hero image/banner for use on the website landing page
Develop a small set of social media tiles (3–5) to support launch and promotion
Ensure all assets are consistent with our brand kit (colors, typography, tone)
This project directly supports our mission by strengthening the launch and visibility of our research registry, which is a critical component of advancing research for KCNQ2-related disorders.

The registry will help connect families, clinicians, and researchers while enabling the collection of meaningful data that can accelerate scientific discovery and therapeutic development. In order for the registry to be effective, it must be trusted, clearly communicated, and accessible to a wide audience.

High-quality visual design will play a key role in achieving this. A strong logo and cohesive set of digital assets will help establish credibility, improve engagement, and make complex research concepts more approachable for families. These materials will also support outreach efforts, increasing participation in the registry and ultimately contributing to better data, stronger research collaborations, and progress toward treatments.

By investing in thoughtful, strategic design at launch, we are ensuring that this initiative reaches and resonates with the community it is intended to serve.
We have the following materials available to set this project up for success:

Brand kit (colors, fonts, existing visual style)
Messaging and context for the research registry
Examples of designs we like (if helpful)
Clear feedback and collaboration throughout the project
