We are seeking support to develop a comprehensive, submission-ready grant proposal and program framework for a youth and at-risk youth housing, stabilization, and relocation initiative.

Our organization, Anointed Youth Shelter and Resources Center (AYSRC), serves youth and at-risk youth ages 5 to 25 in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois and is expanding into emergency housing, transitional support, trauma-informed care, workforce development, education, and violence prevention.

We are preparing to apply for Housing Authority funding, HUD-aligned programs, government RFPs, and foundation grants.

The program we are developing, the Youth Relocation and Reset Initiative, is designed to interrupt cycles of violence, trauma, and instability by temporarily removing youth and at-risk youth from high-risk environments and placing them into structured, safe, and supportive settings.

This initiative includes:
• Emergency and transitional housing support
• Structured daily programming including life skills, education, and mentorship
• Mental health and trauma-informed services
• Workforce and career development
• Reintegration planning and long-term support

A key component of this program is exposure expansion through structured trips and experiences, including college visits, career exposure trips, leadership retreats, cultural experiences, and out-of-town learning opportunities designed to broaden perspective, build motivation, and create new pathways for youth and at-risk youth.

We need support to:
• Develop a full grant proposal narrative
• Strengthen program structure and language
• Align with HACC, HUD, and housing stabilization funding priorities
• Define measurable outcomes and evaluation metrics
• Assist with budget alignment and justification
• Prepare submission-ready content for multiple funding opportunities
Through working with our organization on this project, the volunteer will directly support our mission to serve youth and at-risk youth by helping us secure funding to provide housing, stabilization, and life-changing opportunities.

This project will help us move from vision to execution by creating a strong, fundable program that addresses youth violence, homelessness, trauma, and lack of access to opportunity.

The work completed through this project will allow us to:
• Provide safe and stable housing for youth and at-risk youth
• Deliver structured programs that promote healing, education, and workforce readiness
• Offer trips and exposure opportunities that expand mindset and future possibilities
• Reduce risk factors associated with violence and instability
• Build long-term pathways to independence and success

This project will directly impact youth and at-risk youth in our community by creating access to environments, experiences, and support systems that change their trajectory.
My team and I have prepared for this project by developing a clear program concept, identifying our target population of youth and at-risk youth, and outlining a structured service model that includes housing, mentorship, education, mental health support, and workforce development.

We have existing organizational materials, program outlines, and community engagement efforts already in place. We are actively building partnerships with schools, community organizations, and service providers to support implementation.

We are fully committed to this project and prepared to collaborate consistently with a volunteer by providing all necessary information, participating in regular check-ins, and implementing the final deliverables.

Our organization is in a strong position to move quickly from planning to execution once this project is completed, and we are prepared to use the final work immediately for funding submissions and program launch.
