Website Design (Squarespace)

We are seeking a web designer to create the structure and design for our nonprofit website. We will be using Squarespace for website platform with Zeffy embedded for donations and Mailchimp for email sign up.

The volunteer should assess and incorporate our goals and needs and consider our key audiences. The volunteer should also assess our technical capabilities. The project's deliverables are: draft of website architecture and design concepts for review followed by creation and launch of the website using agreed upon concepts

Our work will take place over multiple meetings in six to eight weeks. In our first meeting, we can discuss our goals, objectives, desired features, web capabilities, and our technical expertise for future changes and updates. Then, the volunteer will synthesize the information into a requirement briefing. We'll engage in various check-ins, where a member or members of our team will provide feedback. The volunteer will create a draft of site architecture and design options including site structure, and other visual elements. Finally, the agreed upon site architecture and design will then be implemented into site creation.

The vision and mission of Pure Water Collaborative is to ensure children and families in Haiti and Central America have access to safe drinking water, hygiene knowledge and improved sanitation. We do this by partnering with locally-led WASH (water and sanitation organizations) that are working in these communities. Support of Pure Water Collaborative’s website creation and launch will allow the organization to focus on the preparation and funding of the organization’s launch. This support will also provide the critical foundation for all of our future work with partners in Central America and Haiti -- ultimately supporting children and families in Haiti and Central America with gaining life-changing safe water and improved sanitation.

We have created a website outline and content. We also have a brand document with branding collateral and norms prepared along with photos. We can also elaborate in our first conversation the goals and concepts we have for our website.
