Boston Community Event Strategy and Partnership Deepening Plan
-An audit of our existing Boston partnerships and venue relationships (including the Belmont World Film Festival, Coolidge Theatre, and Regent Theatre)
-A vetted list of 10 to 15 new venue, school, and community organization prospects to expand our local footprint
-A 90-day event calendar with 3 to 4 proposed activations (screenings, open hours, workshop pop-ups, or partner co-hosted events)
-An outreach tracker documenting all conversations and follow-up steps.
Scope of work: Review our current Boston partnerships and assess which relationships have room to grow and which need reactivation. Research and identify 10 to 15 new prospective partners across the Greater Boston area, including independent cinemas, cultural centers, high schools, and colleges with media programs, libraries, and community organizations aligned with youth arts and multicultural storytelling. Create a 90-day event calendar proposing 3 to 4 local activations we could produce or co-host. Draft outreach email templates our team can continue using after the project ends. Deliver an outreach tracker spreadsheet documenting all existing and new partner conversations, response status, and recommended next steps.
The ideal volunteer is an event planner, community organizer, or partnerships professional with experience in the arts, film, education, or cultural space. Familiarity with the Greater Boston arts and cultural landscape is a strong plus but not required, as much of the research and outreach can be conducted effectively from anywhere. This project should take 20 to 30 hours to complete. We are hopeful that our volunteer partner will share 3 to 5 hours of their time per week.
But as we have grown into San Diego, Los Angeles, and New York, our Boston presence needs intentional investment to match the momentum we are building elsewhere. We have strong partnerships with the Belmont World Film Festival, the Coolidge Theatre, and the Regent Theatre, but there are dozens of cultural centers, schools, libraries, and community spaces across Greater Boston that have never heard of us. There are teenagers in Dorchester, East Boston, Roxbury, and Mattapan who are growing up between cultures and looking for creative outlets, and we are not yet connected to the spaces where they spend their time.
This project gives us the strategy and the warm introductions to change that. A well-researched partner map, a thoughtful outreach sequence, and a calendar of proposed events gives our Founder and team everything they need to walk into rooms with confidence and build lasting relationships. ProIneffable Films was born in Boston. Our Founder lives in Somerville. Our earliest screenings, our first partnerships, our first cohort of young filmmakers who trusted us enough to share their stories all started here. Boston is not just one of our markets. It is home.

Programs like PolyNation, Mission Ineffable, and Motherland Lens were designed for exactly these young people, teenagers with roots that stretch across borders who are trying to figure out who they are through the stories they tell. This project makes sure that in the city where Ineffable Films began, we are not just present. We are growing. Stories that Travel, and this project makes sure they start traveling from home.
The volunteer will work directly with our Founder and CEO, who is based in Somerville, MA and available for regular video calls and collaborative working sessions. Our Chief of Staff and Head of Events and Partnerships will provide support on logistics, outreach messaging, and partnership documentation. All collaboration will happen virtually through video calls, Slack, and shared Google Drive folders. Weekly check-ins will be scheduled at the volunteer's convenience, and feedback turnaround will be within 48 hours.
Once complete, the event calendar, outreach tracker, and email templates will become the operational playbook for our Boston programming through Q3 and Q4. Our Founder and internal team will handle all in-person networking and event execution using the strategy and warm introductions the volunteer builds. New partnerships initiated virtually by the volunteer will be continued and deepened by our Founder, who is local and available to meet partners face to face.
