Our organization aims to create accessible, culturally inclusive, and high-quality bilingual communications that expand our reach and ensure equitable access to our programs and resources. As we continue to grow initiatives such as Wellness Week and Street Care, we seek a skilled Spanish Translator to help bridge language barriers and strengthen engagement with Spanish-speaking communities.

The volunteer will support the translation of outreach materials, program resources, social media content, and internal communications between English and Spanish. Additionally, the volunteer may assist with interpretation during meetings or community interactions when needed. Through this collaboration, we aim to ensure that all communications are clear, accurate, and culturally sensitive.

By supporting bilingual communication efforts, the volunteer will directly help expand access to our programs and services for Spanish-speaking individuals and communities. Clear and inclusive communication is essential to ensuring that all individuals—regardless of language—can engage with our initiatives and benefit from available resources.

The volunteer’s contributions will strengthen our outreach, foster greater community trust, and enhance participation in programs such as Street Care and Wellness Week. Through this project, the volunteer will play a meaningful role in advancing equity, inclusion, and community impact across diverse populations.

Our team has prepared by organizing key documents, outreach materials, and communication templates that require translation. We have identified priority content areas and established brand guidelines to ensure consistency in tone, messaging, and cultural relevance.

To support effective collaboration, we have designated a primary point of contact who will coordinate translation requests, provide context, and offer timely feedback. We have also implemented systems for document sharing, review, and version control to ensure accuracy and efficiency. These preparations enable the volunteer to work confidently and deliver high-quality translations.

Bright Mind is a community wellness education organization. BME was just featured on ABC, CBS, Politico, Newsweek, and many more outlets for our vaccination project and we need more people to join us as we continue to solve urgent social issues! CBS News said of our newest app: "Health experts have said friends and family are key to getting those who aren't vaccinated and experts say this (Vaccination Rewards) app will start those conversations. "Bright Mind recently launched Street Care, a massive initiative built by our homelessness and wellness experts, 'your toolkit to help homeless people.' We have an app, an expanding series of informational materials and instructional videos (25+ already), and more (at streetcare.us). We are pioneering an online and on-the-streets outreach approach, accessible to everyone. We are passionate about building community. This is a crucial time to create positive change, and we look forward to working together as we accomplish great things together!
