We’re seeking a volunteer to write 2-10 social media posts for our nonprofit. We use LinkedIn and Facebook. These posts may cover the following topics: who we are, examples of our community impact, donation requests or similar calls to action and educational information regarding the organization. I want to improve upon the existing messaging.
By working with The GNOME Project Inc., individuals and partners actively contribute to advancing childhood literacy and expanding access to educational opportunities for children and families in underserved communities. Literacy is a critical foundation for academic success, long-term stability, and overall well-being; however, many children face barriers due to limited access to books, learning tools, and supportive resources. The GNOME Project addresses these challenges by providing books, educational materials, and community-based programming designed to foster a love of reading and learning. Through intentional outreach and resource distribution, the organization ensures that children—regardless of socioeconomic background—have the tools they need to build strong literacy skills and confidence. Volunteers, donors, and community partners are essential to this mission. Their involvement allows The GNOME Project to expand its reach, increase the availability of literacy resources, and create meaningful learning experiences for youth. Each contribution—whether through time, funding, or donated materials—directly supports efforts to close educational gaps and promote equitable access to opportunity. By engaging with The GNOME Project Inc., stakeholders are not only supporting a nonprofit—they are investing in the future of children and strengthening the fabric of the community. Together, this collective effort empowers young learners, supports families, and builds a more equitable and literate society.
We have a dedicated team member for the project who will provide you with examples of our previous social media posts, the specific number of posts and topics we’d like, as well as key points for each. Our volunteer will be provided with information on our key audiences and organizational key messages.

Organization Mission

At The GNOME Project, we are dedicated to empowering the next generation through equitable access to educational resources and opportunities. Our mission is to promote youth education by creating and maintaining little and mobile libraries that spark curiosity and a love for reading in children of all ages. In addition, we provide childcare tuition assistance to support working families and enable children to participate in enriching local youth programs. Through these efforts, we aim to build stronger communities where every child has the tools to learn, grow, and thrive—regardless of their background.
