A concise SEO audit of our WordPress site and a prioritized, step-by-step action plan for on-page SEO, technical fixes, content opportunities, and Google Ad Grants optimisation. Deliverables include written recommendations and a short recorded or live walkthrough/demo.
Improved SEO and optimised Google Ad Grants will increase MIH's online visibility to marginalised communities, driving more sign-ups for free meals, cookery classes, training and consultancy. Volunteer support will directly help MIH reach people affected by food insecurity, health inequality and isolation.
We will share WordPress admin or exports, Google Ads/Grants and Analytics access (or exports), a list of priority pages/keywords, and a single point of contact so volunteers can give clear, implementable guidance and we can act on recommendations.

Organization Mission

Made In Hackney (MIH) is the UK’s first fully vegan community cookery school and charity, founded in 2012 to address the interconnected challenges of food insecurity, health inequality and the climate crisis through plant-based food education and systems change. For over thirteen years we have supported over 500,000 marginalised communities through free nutritious meals and culturally inclusive cooking classes, while building wider change across the food system. Our work addresses multiple connected needs in the UK, including health inequalities for marginalised groups, lack of community spaces and increased isolation, the broken food system which increases health risks and food poverty for those on lower incomes. We prioritise working with those who would benefit most from our work, including older people, communities from low income families, global majority backgrounds, interfaith groups, young people from marginalised backgrounds, individuals managing health conditions (including poor mental health), LGBTQI+ young people, and many others facing socio-economic and health challenges. We also provide consultancy and training to inspire plant-based change across communities, businesses and public services, and support the development of similar community kitchens focused on sustainability, health and food justice.
