We're looking for a volunteer with experience helping nonprofits set up Quickbooks and tracking restricted funding. We've been using Quickbooks desktop, but our chart of accounts was set up 20+ years ago and is due for an overhaul. In our first meeting, we can share a detailed description of our existing financial record-keeping and reporting systems and what we're missing from the current set-up.
As a small nonprofit, our staff wear many hats at once! By helping set up an accounting system that works for the current needs of the organization, you'll help free up staff time to focus on coordinating and expanding our programs.
We've acquired the online version of QuickBooks and have begun to look into the best way to set it up for our organization but need guidance from someone more experienced. We are a small nonprofit and both the executive director and bookkeeper are available for questions/collaboration.
