A volunteer will review our 2025 bookkeeping and chart of accounts, identify classification and cleanup needs for revenue, grants, recoverable grants, lending pool and reserves, advise on year-end close steps and state filing considerations, and deliver a clear roadmap to prepare for the 2026 Form 990.

Establishing clean, compliant tax and accounting processes will enable TICC to operate transparently and scale its community-controlled lending and technical assistance. Volunteer support will strengthen our ability to expand access to capital and support Indigenous entrepreneurs and sustainable energy and food projects across the region.

We recently transitioned into our own charitable structure and can provide current books, the chart of accounts, and documentation for review. Volunteers will interview staff, assess records, and produce actionable recommendations and a prioritized checklist. Specific access, timelines, and materials will be provided during the engagement.
