We are searching for a volunteer who can help us develop a payroll plan and implementation guide to reclassify the executive director from a 1099 contractor to a W-2 employee. The volunteer will review the arrangement, advise on classification and withholdings, outline payroll tax registration and setup steps, and provide an implementation checklist.

Correctly classifying and paying the executive director ensures legal and financial compliance, stabilizes leadership compensation, and strengthens organizational capacity. This allows staff to focus on empowering youth and adults with disabilities and advancing disability education within immigrant communities.

We have leadership buy-in and will make staff available for regular check-ins. Necessary documents and records will be provided and specifics will be shared during volunteer interviews so the volunteer can complete the work efficiently.
