A staged implementation plan to move TTC to a membership model, including a recommended benefits framework and tier structure, a pricing research approach, key operational workflows (signup, payments, renewals), a communications and launch roadmap, and a list of decisions/materials volunteers will need. We currently use Givebutter as our fundraising and donor management platform.
A reliable membership revenue stream will help TTC sustain and expand hands-on animal programs, allowing more classrooms to meet live animal ambassadors, spark STEM curiosity, and foster compassionate respect for often-feared species. Volunteers’ strategic work will directly support program continuity and broader student reach.
Volunteers will be set up for success with organizational context and materials: program calendars, current revenue info, stakeholder goals, and access to relevant staff and systems. A staff point person will be identified to collaborate on implementation. Timelines and specifics will be discussed with volunteers.

Organization Mission

Things That Creep (TTC) brings hands-on science programs to classrooms and outdoor spaces throughout the Bay Area. By introducing students to live “animal ambassadors,” including lizards, snakes, and frogs, TTC provides students with a memorable introduction to the biological sciences, sparks curiosity about STEM fields and encourages compassionate respect for animals that are often ignored or feared, but are vital to balanced, healthy ecosystems.
