We'd like to connect with a volunteer who can help us review our nonprofit tax forms (990EZ, RRF-1 and FTB form 199) and identify errors or missing information, and deliver a clear written summary of findings with suggested corrections and next steps.
Accurate, compliant tax filings help TTC maintain financial and legal standing so it can continue bringing hands-on science programs to Bay Area classrooms. Volunteer review directly supports program continuity, student learning opportunities, and the care of our animal ambassadors.
We will provide the tax forms, relevant supporting documents (P&L), and a primary staff contact. Volunteers will have timely access to staff for questions and the organization commits to implementing recommended corrections or seeking further guidance.

Organization Mission

Things That Creep (TTC) brings hands-on science programs to classrooms and outdoor spaces throughout the Bay Area. By introducing students to live “animal ambassadors,” including lizards, snakes, and frogs, TTC provides students with a memorable introduction to the biological sciences, sparks curiosity about STEM fields and encourages compassionate respect for animals that are often ignored or feared, but are vital to balanced, healthy ecosystems.
