A complete grant proposal package to pursue $350,000 in funding for a Circular Economy ADU demonstration in Tucson, AZ. This includes a clear project narrative, budget outline, goals and outcomes, and a recommended submission strategy. Specific attachments and funder preferences will be provided during volunteer interviews.
Funding will help convert a modest residence into affordable housing and a sustainable training hub that centers underserved youth and seniors of color, advances circular-economy practices, and addresses environmental and social injustices. Volunteers will directly enable hands-on training, housing access, and equitable climate solutions in our community. This will be a scalable, community driven approach.
We will provide the project concept, site context in Tucson, the target budget of $350,000, and the intended beneficiaries (transitional-age youth and seniors). A primary staff contact will be available to collaborate with the volunteer to refine goals, supply materials, and finalize the proposal; additional details will be provided as needed.

Organization Mission

We seek systemic solutions to longstanding problems of racial inequities, especially those impacting underserved marginalized youth and young adults of color. The intersections of climate change, environmental injustice, and social injustice are key to our work. We work together with youth leaders and others to find equitable solutions that address the legacy of systemic racism, environmental injustice, and social injustice. We seek to rebuild the U.S. economy and social fabric in ways that work for everyone.
