We are seeking a volunteer with experience in nonprofit accounting, audit, and compliance (GAAS/GATA familiarity preferred) to help us conduct an annual audit that meets GATA requirements (2023 – ARPA Grant), finalizing corrective action responses and ensuring full compliance alignment for closeout and future funding readiness. Deliverables include an audit report, supporting working papers, and a concise set of findings and recommendations. Specific scope, timeline, and required documents will be provided during volunteer interviews.

Completing this audit will ensure compliance with GATA, strengthen financial transparency and controls, and help the organization maintain trust with stakeholders so it can continue delivering services. Volunteers' expertise will have a direct, practical impact.

We will collaborate closely with the CPA volunteer, share necessary documentation, identify key staff contacts as needed, and be responsive to questions to help the audit proceed smoothly.
