We are seeking a graphic designer to execute a streamlined refresh of our current logo to better suit our organization's voice and mission. Our goal is not a full rebrand, but a strategic "polish" to ensure our visual identity is crisp, scalable, and cohesive across social media, our website, and email communications.

The volunteer will partner with us to:
Audit & Refine: Review our existing logo and provide suggested updates to typography, color balance, or line weights to improve digital appeal and legibility.
Style Alignment: Collaborate briefly with staff to ensure the refresh aligns with our current mission and organizational "voice."
Deliver Variations: Provide a final toolkit of the refreshed logo in high-resolution formats (SVG, PNG, JPG).
A clearer, modern logo will strengthen our identity and make it easier for families, researchers, clinicians, and industry partners to recognize and trust our work. This increased visibility supports collaboration and fundraising that accelerates DEE-P's mission for serving the profoundly impacted epilepsy community.
We have full internal buy-in and are ready to hit the ground running. To ensure a smooth, efficient collaboration, we have prepared:
Brand Assets: A "starter kit" including our current logo files, color palette, and a brief overview of our digital style goals.
Collaborative Team Leadership: A dedicated team to provide consolidated, timely feedback.
Clear Implementation: Once finalized, the refreshed logo will be immediately integrated into our upcoming website revamp and strategic plan campaign.

Organization Mission

We work to accelerate the pace of science on SCN8A in order to bring hope and improved outcomes for all those living with SCN8A and their families. Motivated by and with families at the center of all we do, we work collaboratively with researchers, clinicians, pharmaceutical companies, and beyond to improve treatments for and the quality of life of those living with SCN8A, other rare epilepsies, and their families.
