Stakeholder Research

My goal for this Taproot Project is to create a stakeholder map and analysis for Voices For Seniors. We want to identify who our key stakeholders are — including donors, partner organizations, program participants, caregivers, and community leaders — and better understand how each group relates to our mission. The end deliverable would be a stakeholder map or matrix that outlines who our stakeholders are, how they are currently engaged with us, and how we should prioritize outreach and relationship-building going forward. This will help us make more informed strategic decisions as we work to grow our impact and serve more seniors in our community.

Through working with our organization on this project, the volunteer will support our mission by helping us gain a clearer understanding of who we serve and who supports that work. Voices For Seniors is dedicated to improving the lives of elderly individuals in our community, and knowing our stakeholders — from donors and partners to caregivers and program participants — will help us communicate more effectively, build stronger relationships, and make smarter decisions about where to focus our energy. This foundation will ultimately help us reach and serve more seniors.

To prepare for this project, we have begun identifying who we believe our current core audiences are, which will give the volunteer a starting point for their research. We plan to implement the results of this stakeholder mapping by using it to guide our outreach strategy and help us prioritize relationships that will strengthen our mission and expand our reach to more seniors.
