A documented bookkeeping structure to track donations and grants, including a recommended chart of accounts, donation/grant tracking workflow, basic reporting templates, and implementation notes. We are already using QuickBooks Pro and need to ensure we are set up for success.
Accurate, donation- and grant-ready books will allow VoAFP to secure and steward funding more reliably, enabling expanded patient outreach and stronger contributions to patient-centered AFib research. Volunteers will directly support the organization's ability to amplify patient voices and advance its mission.
VoAFP is a 501(c)(3) and will collaborate closely with the volunteer. Details will be provided during interviews, and leadership will support access to organizational context so volunteers can assess current records and help implement recommended processes for receiving donations and grants. We are not in need of dealing with anything related to payroll or employee needs just the basics.

Organization Mission

Voices of Atrial Fibrillation Patients (VoAFP.org) is a dedicated community founded on the belief that the collective experiences of individuals living with atrial fibrillation are invaluable in shaping the future of medical research and ultimately improving patient outcomes. Our mission is to provide a platform where AFib patients can share their stories, insights, and challenges, fostering a supportive environment that amplifies their voices and connects them with the medical research community. By bridging the gap between patients and researchers, we aim to facilitate a deeper understanding of AFib, promote patient-centered research, and drive innovation in treatments and care. Together, we empower AFib patients to become active contributors in shaping the future of AFib research, clinical outcomes with your care team, leading to enhanced treatments, improved quality of life, and a brighter tomorrow for all those affected by this condition.
