Create Impact Stories for Caregiver Support
The volunteer will play a key role in shaping our storytelling approach and producing high-quality digital assets that can be used across our website, social media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn), and donor communications.
Specific tasks include:
- Collaborate with our team to define storytelling themes, target audiences (including donors and volunteers), and key messages
- Develop 3–5 story outlines or scripts based on caregiver experiences and program outcomes
- Recommend effective formats for digital storytelling (e.g., short-form videos, testimonials, reels, or multimedia stories)
- Edit and produce 3–5 short digital stories (approximately 60–90 seconds each) using existing photos, video clips, and testimonials
- Provide guidance on optimizing content for engagement, including strategies to inspire donations and volunteer participation
-Create a simple, repeatable storytelling framework that our team can use for future content
This project focuses on storytelling strategy and content production/editing. MFLBB will provide the raw materials; no on-site videography is required.
This project will directly support our mission by transforming real caregiver experiences into powerful stories that raise awareness and drive action. These digital impact stories will:
- Inspire donors to invest in programs that expand equitable access to care
- Motivate new volunteers to contribute their time and skills to our mission
- Strengthen partnerships by clearly demonstrating the impact of our work
- Amplify the voices and strengths of caregivers in underserved communities
By helping us tell these stories effectively, the volunteer will play a critical role in growing our community of supporters and ensuring that more caregivers around the world receive the support they need.
Our team has internal alignment on the importance of storytelling as a key strategy for growth, and we are ready to dedicate staff time to support this project. We will:
Assign a primary point of contact to ensure clear and consistent communication
Provide timely feedback on drafts and deliverables
Coordinate access to participants if additional context or interviews are needed
Ensure that all necessary permissions and consent for storytelling are secured
We will also work with the volunteer at the beginning of the engagement to define a realistic scope and timeline that fits within the expected 2–5 hours per week commitment.
The final assets and framework will be actively used by our team in marketing, fundraising campaigns, and volunteer recruitment efforts, ensuring the volunteer’s work has immediate and sustained impact.
