Help us be more efficient with our grants management process!

Configure Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack Grants to track grant opportunities (LOIs and full proposals) with stages, deadlines, requested amounts, and strategic priorities; link opportunities to funders and contacts; store submissions, award terms, payment schedules, reporting requirements, attachments, and communications. Create reminder workflows and dashboards for pipeline, forecasting, and restricted vs. unrestricted revenue. Specific fields and reports will be defined with volunteers during discovery.
Structured grants tracking will help After Innocence secure and steward funding that directly supports one-on-one re-entry assistance for exonerees. Improved reporting on restricted vs. unrestricted funds and program attribution will strengthen donor accountability, service delivery, and the organization's ability to expand support and advocate for policy reform.
We've engaged a grants consultant experienced with the NPSP and have a small amount of legacy data to migrate to Salesforce from our current spreadsheet. Details will be provided during discovery.

We have several years of working with Salesforce NPSP, through which we manage all or our client case management work.
We will collaborate with volunteers, allocate staff time for interviews and testing, and commit to adopting and using the configured workflows and reports operationally.

Organization Mission

After Innocence provides effective, efficient re-entry assistance for America’s exonerees – people released from prison after having served time for crimes they did not commit. The vast majority of exonerees never received reliable help rebuilding their lives, and most did not receive compensation. We work one-on-one with them to increase their access to health care and legal services, and also advocate for policy reform that increases accountability for the consequences of wrongful conviction.
