Create a tailored Board Development plan for my nonprofit board that includes a board skills assessment, recommended role descriptions, onboarding and training recommendations, recruitment and succession ideas, and a practical action roadmap.
We currently have a 10-member board with members' experience ranging from 1 to 10 years serving on nonprofit boards. Collectively, the board has professional experience in education, marketing, technology, recruitment, law, and operations.
A stronger, more intentional board will improve governance and leadership continuity, enabling the organization to better support operations professionals. Volunteers will help build board capacity that advances professional development, resource sharing, and best practices across charter school operations.
We’ve shared board size, members’ experience ranges, and collective professional backgrounds; additional details and any existing governance documents will be provided during our work together. Board leadership will collaborate with the volunteer to define scope, review drafts, and implement agreed recommendations.
