Our organization aims to create compelling, high-quality video content (2-5 videos) that highlights our initiatives, community outreach, and mission-driven work. As our organization continues to grow and reach millions of people, we are looking for a skilled volunteer Video Editor who can help transform raw footage into engaging and impactful videos.

The volunteer will support our team by editing short-form videos for social media and occasional longer-form content for our website and outreach campaigns. This includes adding captions, subtitles, music, transitions, and branding elements to ensure a polished and professional final product. The goal is to create visually engaging stories that communicate the impact of our programs and inspire more people to engage with our mission.

Through this collaboration, we hope to strengthen our digital storytelling and expand the reach of our programs to a broader audience.

By helping create engaging video content, the volunteer will play a key role in amplifying our message and increasing awareness of our programs and community impact. Video storytelling allows us to share real stories from our initiatives, highlight volunteer efforts, and connect more deeply with audiences across digital platforms.

High-quality video content helps us reach new supporters, strengthen community engagement, and expand the visibility of initiatives such as Street Care and Wellness Week. The volunteer’s contributions will directly support our mission of promoting well-being, compassion, and meaningful social change.

Our team has prepared by organizing raw video footage, brand guidelines, and examples of previously published content to provide clear direction for the volunteer editor. We have identified key themes and messaging priorities to ensure that all videos reflect our organization’s mission and values.

A designated team member will coordinate with the volunteer to provide project briefs, feedback, and timelines for video requests. We will also ensure access to shared folders and communication tools to streamline collaboration. By maintaining organized video assets and clear expectations, we aim to make the editing process efficient and flexible for the volunteer.

Bright Mind is a community wellness education organization. BME was just featured on ABC, CBS, Politico, Newsweek, and many more outlets for our vaccination project and we need more people to join us as we continue to solve urgent social issues! CBS News said of our newest app: "Health experts have said friends and family are key to getting those who aren't vaccinated and experts say this (Vaccination Rewards) app will start those conversations. "Bright Mind recently launched Street Care, a massive initiative built by our homelessness and wellness experts, 'your toolkit to help homeless people.' We have an app, an expanding series of informational materials and instructional videos (25+ already), and more (at streetcare.us). We are pioneering an online and on-the-streets outreach approach, accessible to everyone. We are passionate about building community. This is a crucial time to create positive change, and we look forward to working together as we accomplish great things together!
