Help us optimize our workspace! This pro bono project consists of creating a practical plan recommending what furniture to order and how to arrange it. Deliverables include a prioritized shopping list by function/size, simple layout diagrams or annotated floor plans, accessibility and privacy recommendations, and brief procurement/implementation notes.

A well-designed, accessible workspace will help UnLocal staff work more efficiently and provide private, welcoming spaces for clients, improving the delivery of immigration legal services and community education. Volunteers will directly support staff wellbeing and better client experiences for NYC immigrant communities.

Details (measurements, staff roles, budget range, and decision-maker) will be provided to volunteers. Our team will assign a single point of contact, be available for regular check-ins, and provide timely feedback so recommendations can be finalized and implemented.
