Help optimize our accounting processes. We are searching for a volunteer to create and configure an accounting system for a preoperational men's shelter that automates photo receipt capture into the ledger, links to the shelter bank account, enables online payments, sets up basic payroll, and creates invoices. We are hoping for the volunteer to document the workflows, enabling our team to continue successful use of the system.
A reliable accounting setup will ensure donations and startup funds are tracked, staff can be paid, and financial transparency supports sustainable operations so the shelter can open and serve men experiencing homelessness. Volunteers' work will directly support clients' path to stability and housing.
Our team will be available for regular check-ins to share startup-cost items, receipts, bank-connection needs, and payment preferences. Volunteers will be supported to select and configure software, and deliver user-friendly documentation and brief training.
