We are looking for a volunteer with a background in nonprofit fundraising to craft a roadmap for how our organization can secure grant funding.

This project will consist of activities such as: A prioritized grant prospect list and a clear 12–18 month funding roadmap that identifies aligned foundations, grant programs, and funding sources/fundraising options. The deliverable will include recommended next steps and practical guidance on positioning the organization for grant success; specific funder choices and timelines will be defined with the volunteer.
This project will focus early fundraising on the most promising opportunities, helping Lovey’s Home Foundation secure resources to launch trauma-informed transitional housing, mentorship, and life-skills supports. Volunteer contributions will directly increase our ability to create stable homes and pathways to independence for young mothers and youth aging out of foster care.
Our team has prepared the mission, program concepts, initial grant leads, and organizational background documents and will share these with the volunteer. Leadership is engaged and ready to review and implement recommendations. Details, timelines, and responsibilities will be finalized collaboratively during the project.

Organization Mission

Lovey’s Home Foundation exists to provide safe, nurturing housing and comprehensive support for young mothers and transition-aged youth aging out of foster care. We create stable homes rooted in dignity, opportunity, and community, equipping residents with the tools, resources, and belief they need to build independent, thriving futures.
