Our organization's goal is to determine if a tax filing is necessary based on the income and expenses that we have had for the year 2025. You will be analyzing our records to indicate if a 990 form is necessary to file. You will have access to spreadsheets for income and expenses as needed. You will also have the ability to speak with our Treasurer and other board members, as necessary. Our nonprofit is small so the amount of work to complete will be limited.

The volunteer will help us our mission by ensuring that we file the necessary forms with the IRS (as necessary). This will allow our organization to remain compliant with the taxing authorities and operational for years to come.

We have compiled and classified all the necessary data (cash donations, expenses, event revenue, and other transactions) into spreadsheets that we can share with the volunteer. Any advice given to our team regarding future tax preparations will be taken into consideration throughout the year in order to ensure a smooth filing process in future tax seasons.
