We'd like to work with a volunteer who can help us with a mentor-supported set of deliverables, including:
-A tailored chart of accounts for an after-school nonprofit
-A documented monthly close workflow with required reconciliations,
-Templates for board-ready monthly financial statements
-Annual and program-level budget templates, and ongoing 1-hr mentorship sessions for the duration of the project.

Building proactive financial systems will strengthen grant readiness and donor confidence, enabling sustainable growth of our tutoring, STEAM, arts, sports, and leadership programs. Volunteers will help ensure funds are tracked and stewarded so students gain stable, high-quality learning opportunities.

I will serve as the primary point person, provide existing bookkeeping records and organizational context, commit to weekly or biweekly 1-hour check-ins, and implement agreed recommendations. Additional specifics and materials will be provided during volunteer interviews.
