Social Media Content Calendar & Content Recommendations (LinkedIn Focus)
This project is not just about writing posts. We want to create a simple, repeatable system that allows our small team to maintain a consistent and strategic presence over time.
The volunteer will:
Create a reusable one-month social media calendar template that can be used long term
Draft approximately 15 to 20 posts aligned with our mission, voice, and brand
Help adapt content across platforms, with primary focus on LinkedIn and optional use of Facebook, Instagram, or email-style content
Incorporate storytelling, program impact, and public education about medication access and waste reduction
Provide recommendations for lightweight tools or automation to make posting sustainable for a small nonprofit team
Work from existing branded materials, including approximately 20 pre-designed posts, and refine or improve them if helpful
The final deliverable will be a simple, durable posting system and a completed sample month of content that we can continue using after the project ends.
A strong volunteer for this project:
Believes in improving healthcare access and reducing medication waste
Has experience managing professional or nonprofit social media, especially LinkedIn
Understands how to build trust, credibility, and engagement through mission-driven storytelling
Can spend approximately 10 hours over 1 to 3 weeks on this project
Since launching, RoundtableRx has helped thousands of Minnesotans access critical medications, prevented avoidable health crises, and generated a strong return on investment for the healthcare system. Behind each prescription is a real person such as a patient with advanced kidney disease who was able to avoid hospitalization and delay dialysis because they received an urgent supply of medication through our program.
As our impact grows, so does the need for public awareness and community support. This project will help us build a sustainable and strategic communications system that ensures our story, our mission, and our outcomes reach the people who care about improving healthcare access. A stronger social media presence will help us educate the public, attract partners, and grow recurring individual donations that allow the program to continue serving patients long term.
By contributing to this project, volunteers are not simply helping write posts. They are helping build the communication foundation for a program that transforms unused medicine into real care for real people. Their work will directly support patients across Minnesota who depend on access to essential medications to stay healthy, avoid crisis, and live with dignity.
Internally, expanding our public presence, particularly on LinkedIn, is a strategic priority for 2026. Our Board and leadership team support building a more consistent and professional social media presence to increase awareness and support long-term recurring donations.
We have gathered foundational materials to support this work, including:
Approximately 20 pre-designed branded social media graphics aligned with our visual guidelines
Formal brand guidelines, including logo use and color standards
A developing library of program photos and logos
Impact data, anonymized patient stories, and partner quotes
Key statistics including return on investment and medication value distributed
A working outline of our 2026 events and key moments
A growing list of partner organizations and stakeholders within our sector
While some materials are still evolving, we have enough content and clarity to build a strong foundation. We are prepared to collaborate actively to refine and prioritize what is most effective.
We are specifically seeking a system that allows posts to be pre-scheduled in advance, along with guidance on what types of events or triggers should warrant real-time, unscheduled posts. Sustainability and ease of use for a small nonprofit team are important to us.
We are committed to implementing the calendar template immediately upon completion and integrating the recommended tools or automation workflows into our standard operations.
We will provide timely feedback, participate in an initial kickoff conversation to align on voice and priorities, and make decisions efficiently to keep the project moving forward.
