We are looking for a volunteer to create a coordinated social media and email campaign strategy and a simple content calendar leading up to a pop-up exhibit event in early August. We hope the volunteer will recommend messaging themes, posting and email cadence, and guidance for promoting our museum and the event. Tactics for increasing our email and social media subscribers is also a core goal of this project. Details regarding the pop-up event will be provided.
This campaign will raise awareness and support fundraising for the My Green Museum Planning Project, increase local attendance and donor interest for the August pop-up, and engage families in the Kingston, NY area around our mission to inspire environmental stewardship in children - helping build momentum toward a permanent museum.
The pop-up event will take place over the first two weeks of August, and we have in place a proposed tabling schedule at local markets and fairs; details will be provided during volunteer interviews. A volunteer will co-create the plan with our team, and our staff will implement the calendar, send emails, and use materials at events.
