Conduct a SWOT Analysis

Our nonprofit is seeking a volunteer who can complete a comprehensive SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analysis. The SWOT analysis should capture and document our board members' perspectives.

This research and analysis will be a core building block for our organization's planning efforts. During this project, our volunteer will:
-Research industry trends
-Study feedback from our nonprofit's stakeholders
-Create a breakdown of our nonprofit’s internal strengths and weaknesses and external opportunities and threats
-Examine how natural disasters, health crises, political upheaval, etc. could impact our programs, fundraising ability, or reliance on in-person volunteers.

This SWOT will inform a strategic planning retreat and help prioritize actions to expand eye care delivery, strengthen training and clinical solutions, and improve access to equipment and technology. Volunteers will directly support SFL’s mission to make quality eye care accessible to underserved communities.

Details will be provided. SFL will collaborate closely with the volunteer to share background materials and coordinate access to board members. The volunteer will guide discussions or interviews, draft the SWOT, and iterate with staff and board to ensure the analysis accurately reflects board views.
