We are seeking a skilled volunteer to help us create a compelling Annual Impact Report that clearly communicates Westrick Music Academy’s mission, reach, and outcomes to donors, families, grantmakers, and community partners.

Our goal is to develop a polished, professional report (digital-first, with potential for print) that highlights:

-Number of singers served and geographic reach
-Scholarship distribution and accessibility impact
-Key performances and program milestones
-Financial overview (high-level)
-Community engagement and audience reach
-Testimonials from singers and families
-Donor and partner recognition

We are looking for support with:

-Structuring the overall narrative and flow of the report
-Identifying key data points and impact metrics to highlight
-Refining messaging to balance emotional storytelling with measurable outcomes
-Drafting and/or editing written content
-Recommending visual layout strategy and best practices
-Advising on charts, graphics, and impact framing
-Helping us determine the ideal length and format (8–12 pages digital PDF)

We have the core data and stories but need expertise in shaping them into a cohesive, strategic, donor-facing document.
Westrick Music Academy exists to provide transformative choral education that fosters confidence, artistry, leadership, and belonging for young singers across New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Each season, we serve over 250 choristers from more than 50 zip codes, awarding significant tuition assistance to ensure access for families of varying financial backgrounds. Our programs give young people not only musical excellence, but a sense of identity, discipline, and community that shapes their lives far beyond the stage.

This impact report will directly support our mission by helping us clearly and powerfully communicate the difference our programs make.

A well-crafted report will:

-Strengthen donor trust and transparency
-Increase financial sustainability through stronger fundraising efforts
-Support grant applications and institutional funding
-Attract new families and community partners
-Elevate our professional presence in the arts education landscape
-By helping us tell our story more effectively, this volunteer will directly contribute to expanding access to music education for young people who may not otherwise have it.
-Their expertise will help ensure that more students can stand on stage with confidence, find their voice, and feel seen and supported in a meaningful artistic community.

In short, this project helps us turn impact into sustainability, and sustainability into opportunity for hundreds of young singers!
We are committed to making this a focused, productive, and meaningful pro bono engagement.

Internally, we have strong leadership buy-in and clarity around the purpose of this impact report. Our Executive Director will serve as the primary point of contact and project lead, ensuring streamlined communication and timely feedback.

We can easily gather the foundational materials needed for this project, including:

-Program enrollment data and geographic reach metrics
-Scholarship distribution figures
-Audience attendance numbers
-Financial summaries
-Photos from performances and events
-Testimonials from singers and families
-Prior marketing and fundraising materials

Our team is prepared to:

-Provide organized access to all relevant data and assets
-Schedule regular check-ins (weekly or biweekly)
-Review drafts promptly and provide consolidated feedback
-Make formatting updates as needed
-Implement the final report in digital and print formats

We plan to use the completed impact report immediately in donor stewardship, board engagement, grant applications, and community outreach. It will also become an annual foundational communications tool moving forward.

We value our pro bono partners deeply and aim to create a structured, collaborative environment that respects their time and expertise while ensuring the project delivers meaningful results.
