I would like this volunteer to take great photos and videos (candid and posed) capturing the energy, spirit, and camaraderie of a nonprofit fundraising event. This charity event will take place on April 19, 2026 for about two hours at an athletic club pool in San Francisco. iPhone is fine - no advanced photography equipment is needed, but is certainly welcome IF already available.
The volunteer will support our event - and overall mission - by helping us raise awareness of EB and EBRP across social media channels and donor communications. We hope that the photos (which will be used on social media and other communications) will show viewers how great the event was and compel them to support the cause. We want to encourage people to contribute to funding treatments, and one day, a cure for EB. By seeing how much momentum is behind this cause through the campaign, we also hope that the EB patient community will feel supported and loved.
The event date and location have been set - we're currently in the process of recruiting participants (roughly 30 attendees are expected). Prior to the event, we'll schedule a call with you to discuss the details of the event and the types of photos and videos we have in mind.

For context: the video clips and photos then will be used (by a different volunteer) to create a social media campaign publicizing the event afterwards and raising awareness for the cause.

Organization Mission

EB Research Partnership was founded in 2010 by a group of parents set out to save their children’s lives along with Jill and Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam) with one bold audacious goal: cure the devastating and life-threatening genetic rare skin disease epidermolysis bullosa (EB) by 2030 and in the process pioneer an innovative business model to lead the way for 10,000 rare diseases that affect 400 million people.
