Just Add Creative (JAC) is looking for a skilled volunteer who can help us save time, stay organized, and bring fresh creativity to our social media presence. The volunteer will design a simple, easy-to-use one-month social media calendar template that our team can reuse to plan upcoming content across multiple platforms.

The volunteer will also help draft copy for approximately 15–20 posts that highlight JAC’s programs, volunteer opportunities, community partnerships, and the creative impact of our free craft kits. We’d love your insight on how to tailor content for different platforms and any recommendations for tools that could help streamline or automate our posting process.

Project Deliverable:

-A reusable one-month calendar template populated with 15–20 ready-to-use social posts, an annual calendar highlighting some big events and initiatives, and a brief platform optimization recommendation.

You might be a great fit if you:
-Feel inspired by JAC’s mission of spreading creativity through free community craft kits
-Have experience managing or supporting social media accounts
-Enjoy blending organization with creativity
-Can contribute approximately 10 hours over a 1–3 week timeframe

This is a short-term, high-impact volunteer project that helps us reach more people, engage more volunteers, and share creativity across our community.
Why This Project Matters

At Just Add Creative (JAC), every social media post helps spark creativity, recruit new volunteers, and connect more families, classrooms, and community partners to free craft kits. By helping us build a thoughtful, easy-to-use social media calendar, you’ll be giving our small volunteer-led team something incredibly valuable: more time to focus on creating, assembling, and delivering hands-on creative experiences across our community.

Your work will directly support our ability to share volunteer opportunities, highlight local partnerships, celebrate creative moments, and reach more people who can benefit from JAC programs. A stronger, more strategic social presence helps us grow the number of volunteers who say “yes,” the number of kits we assemble, and the number of smiles we help create.

In short, the time and talent you invest in this project won’t just help us plan posts—it will help expand creativity across our community, making it possible for more individuals, families, and organizations to experience the joy of making something by hand.
To support your success, the Just Add Creative (JAC) team will provide our upcoming events and volunteer calendar, examples of social media accounts from community partners and peer organizations for inspiration, and access to a shared folder containing approved photos, logos, brand colors, and graphics. We will also share our current hashtag list, key program highlights (including craft kit initiatives, volunteer opportunities, and community partnerships), and any upcoming campaigns or seasonal priorities to help guide content planning.

Our team will be available for a brief kickoff conversation to answer questions, share context about our audiences, and ensure you have everything needed to create a social calendar that is simple, creative, and easy for our volunteers to maintain moving forward.
