My goal for this Taproot project is to create clear organizational structure and direction for a newly established nonprofit.

Mommy Haven is in an early startup phase. The mission, vision, and legal formation are complete, but the organization needs support organizing ideas, priorities, and early plans into a clear and manageable framework.

I am seeking a skilled volunteer to help:

Organize operational, programmatic, and administrative ideas into a clear structure
Identify priorities and logical next steps
Create simple planning frameworks, timelines, or roadmaps
Serve as a strategic thought partner to help turn ideas into actionable plans

This project is focused on clarity and structure rather than polished final documents. The ideal volunteer enjoys working with early-stage organizations and helping founders move from vision to organized execution.
Through working with our organization on this project, the volunteer will support our mission by helping lay the foundation for a nonprofit dedicated to supporting mothers and children through stability, reunification, and wraparound care.

By bringing clarity and structure to our early-stage planning, this project will directly impact our ability to launch programs responsibly, pursue funding, and serve families effectively. The volunteer’s contributions will help transform vision into organized, actionable plans that guide sustainable growth.

This work will have a meaningful ripple effect—strong internal structure enables stronger programs, which ultimately leads to better outcomes for the families we serve.
My team and I have prepared for this project by completing the nonprofit’s legal formation, establishing governance, and clearly defining the mission and target population.

I am fully available to collaborate with the volunteer through regular check-ins, timely feedback, and shared documents. Background materials, existing notes, and early planning documents will be organized and provided at the start of the project.

Outcomes from this project will be actively implemented to guide future decisions, staffing, fundraising, and program development. This project will directly shape how the organization grows and operates moving forward.
