Edit and simplify existing presentations about different health conditions into clear, plain-language slide text with improved flow and consistency. Volunteers will collaborate with our team to define which decks and formats are in-scope; specifics will be provided during interviews.

Making presentations easier to understand will help the organization's education program be adopted in colleges and other settings, increasing awareness of invisible illnesses, reducing stigma, and providing clearer resources for students, providers, and communities.

Details will be provided. Volunteers and our team will agree on the scope and timelines. Our team will be available to answer questions and provide feedback so edits can be finalized and implemented for educational use.

Organization Mission

The mission of the Invisible Illness Awareness Network is to increase awareness about invisible illnesses, particularly through an easily adaptable education program designed for high schools, colleges, and other forms of higher education. Additionally, we aim to provide resources and support for the invisible illness community while fostering compassion and understanding between patients, providers, and the general population. By creating a safe and supportive environment for those living with invisible illnesses, the organization seeks to reduce the stigma associated with these conditions and Disabilities.
