Prepare the organization's FY2025 Form 990‑EZ, review the 2022–2024 990‑EZ filings to identify possible errors, and provide recommended corrections or draft amended filings as agreed. More details and documents will be provided during volunteer interviews.

Accurate, compliant tax filings protect the organization's nonprofit status, strengthen funder and donor confidence, and preserve staff capacity to advance Bechdel Project’s work amplifying women, nonbinary, and underrepresented gender storytellers through art, activism, and education. Volunteers will directly support program continuity and impact.

Volunteers will work collaboratively with staff to review provided filings and financial records, flag issues, and produce clear recommendations or draft amended returns. Details about access, timelines, and approvals will be provided during interviews to ensure smooth implementation.
