KWH began in 2009 and was formally launched as a Washington State non-profit in 2015. Our core solution is a solar+battery powered community energy hub which provides rural Zambians with clean energy to run local businesses. Our team oversees design, installation, and monitoring of the kiosks. Zambian village committees own and manage the kiosks. Our local partners assist the villages from conception to ongoing operations of the kiosks. We currently have four operational kiosks with two communities preparing for kiosk installation in 2026. As we enter our second decade, we seek a refreshed identity that better communicates our values, impact, and aspirations.
We'll share our branding goals and our target audiences. Our team will also come prepared with examples of brands we like. We'll share some of our past marketing materials. During the interview process, we'll ask to see your portfolio and examples of your branding work.
