AI Automation & Operations Consultant

Pay Your Tuition Foundation (PYT) is seeking a skilled volunteer to help identify, design, and implement lightweight AI automations and AI agents to improve internal operations. The goal is to reduce manual work, streamline workflows, and increase speed and consistency across administrative and operational tasks.
We’re looking for someone who can bring their expertise to assess our current workflows and help us recognize which processes are best suited for automation.

The ideal volunteer will help us translate real-world nonprofit operations into practical, scalable AI solutions that our team can easily maintain and build on over time.

Scope of Work
The volunteer will help automate key internal processes and build AI-enabled tools to support day-to-day operations, such as:
1. Designing AI agents for internal task management and administrative workflows
2. Automating repetitive tasks, including:
* Intake and triage of requests
* Summarizing meetings and organizing notes/action items
* Drafting emails, templates, and follow-ups
* Generating structured project documentation
3. Building workflows using tools such as: ChatGPT / OpenAI, Zapier or Make Google Sheets, Notion or other lightweight systems
4. Creating a repeatable framework that enables ongoing internal processes

Key Deliverables
By the end of the project, we expect:
* A clear automation roadmap aligned to GoPYT’s operational needs
* 1–2 working AI-driven automations or agent workflows
* Clear documentation covering functionality, maintenance, and improvement
* Recommendations for future enhancements and additional AI use cases

This project will support our organization's mission by reducing time spent on manual and repetitive tasks, this project allows our small team to focus more on supporting students, building partnerships, and expanding access to education. AI-powered operations will make us more responsive, more consistent, and better prepared to grow—without needing to expand headcount. These efficiencies directly support our mission to remove financial barriers for underserved students.

Our team is ready to collaborate closely with the volunteer—providing access to tools, use cases, and fast feedback throughout the project. We’ll also assign a dedicated point of contact to ensure quick decisions, maintain momentum, and support implementation.
