You Matter 2 is seeking a skilled Salesforce volunteer to help optimize our Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud environment to improve program registration, enrollment tracking, and data visibility.

Our current system captures student registrations, attendance, and demographic data, but workflows are not yet streamlined. Staff spend significant manual time managing duplicate records and pulling reports across multiple programs.

With a volunteer partner, we aim to:
- Simplify registration and enrollment workflows by reviewing our current intake process and improving how data flows into Salesforce to reduce manual entry and improve accuracy.
- Clean and organize data by identifying and merging duplicate records and establishing best practices to prevent future duplication.
- Build dashboards and reports that provide clear visibility into enrollment, attendance, demographics, and participation across individual programs and all programs.
- Create basic documentation and guidance so staff can maintain dashboards and data quality after the project ends.

This project will increase operational efficiency, strengthen reporting for funders and partners, and support data-driven decision-making as we scale youth programs in the South Suburbs.
You Matter 2 empowers South Suburban youth through accessible enrichment, academic support, and leadership development programs. As our programs grow, strong data systems are essential to serving students effectively and sustaining our impact.

This project will streamline program registration and enrollment, making it easier for families to access our programs while reducing manual administrative work for staff. Cleaner data and improved dashboards will give our team real-time visibility into participation, attendance trends, and demographics across all programs, helping us strengthen equity, improve program quality, and make informed decisions.

By reducing time spent on manual data management, our team can focus more on building relationships with students and delivering high-quality programming. Volunteers will directly contribute to building the infrastructure that allows more young people to feel supported, engaged, and empowered to reach their full potential.
You Matter 2 has leadership and staff buy-in to improve how we use Salesforce and is ready to implement system improvements immediately. We will provide the volunteer with access to our Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud environment, current workflows, and examples of how we collect and use registration, attendance, and participant data.

We are prepared to walk through our existing setup, clearly define goals, and share pain points at the start of the project. Our team will maintain regular communication, participate in testing, and provide timely feedback to keep the project moving efficiently.

Once complete, staff will integrate the improved workflows and dashboards into daily operations for program management and reporting. Any documentation or training provided will support long-term sustainability and internal ownership.
