Lend your accounting skills to help us stay compliant and be more efficient in our work! This volunteer will confirm whether the FY22/23 Form 990 were filed correctly, complete and prepare FY23/24 and FY24/25 Form 990 returns for filing, and clean up/configure QuickBooks so future 990s can be produced more efficiently.

Bringing our filings current and improving bookkeeping will preserve organizational compliance and credibility, freeing staff to focus on Micah 6:8 Mission activities. Volunteers will directly support our ability to sustain environmental stewardship, disaster resilience, and social equity programs in Southwest Louisiana.

We have the fiscal year end (June 30) approaching. During the engagement, we will supply QuickBooks access, prior statements and any correspondence, review draft returns with volunteers, and be available to implement bookkeeping recommendations.
