Correct Health Haiti previously operated a WordPress website hosted on HostGator with a domain registered through GoDaddy. Due to some hosting changes, the WordPress files and database were no longer accessible and the site was offline. The site is now partially restored, but some pages, navigation, and content are incomplete. We are seeking a skilled WordPress volunteer to finish restoring the site and ensure all pages and features are fully functional.

We are seeking a volunteer with WordPress and basic hosting experience to restore or rebuild the website, using existing documentation and past site structure as a guide.

This is a continuation of an earlier volunteer effort — documentation and scope materials are available to support a smooth handoff.

Our work will take place over multiple meetings in six to nine weeks. In our first meeting, the volunteer should interview us about our desired features, our web capabilities, and our technical expertise. Then, they'll synthesize the information into a requirements briefing. We'll engage in various check-ins, where a member or members of our team will provide feedback. The volunteer will audit our current site to advise on existing site architecture and design options including wireframes, site structure, and other visual elements.
As CORRECT Health in Haiti continues to expand its work to serve the healthcare needs in rural Haiti, we are looking to expand our marketing strategy. Included in our marketing efforts will be the development of a modern, updated website that can adequately convey our work and impact. This project would be a perfect opportunity for any design professional looking to build their portfolio while contributing to an important cause.

CORRECT is a small, community-rooted nonprofit organization with more than 20 years of experience delivering health and social services in the rural community of Château and surrounding zones in southern Haiti. Founded to address gaps in access to healthcare, clean water, and basic social services, CORRECT has historically focused on practical, locally driven solutions in one of the country’s most underserved regions. Over the years, CORRECT has supported:
- Operation of a rural medical clinic
- Clean water infrastructure serving thousands of residents
- Maternal and child health programs
- Health education and outreach activities

CORRECT operates with a lean structure and relies heavily on the support of volunteers, like you!
We have already thought about and are prepared to brief you about our current website platform, budget restrictions for the build, our branding collaterals and norms, and information about our stakeholder groups and target audiences. We've also compiled some photos and have some language developed that we will share with you and samples of sites we like.
