Our nonprofit needs support in creating a clear and cohesive brand identity. We want to establish consistent guidelines for how our organization presents itself across all platforms.

A consistent message and voice will:
Strengthen our case for volunteer engagement and financial support.
Save volunteer time by giving everyone the same playbook for emails, web pages, and social posts.

We need your expertise in branding and graphic design to develop a brand style guide, including fonts, specific colors, and graphic design elements for print and digital formats.

The style guide should include:
Tone and voice guidelines and examples
Formatting examples
Grammar, spelling, and punctuation preferences
Instructions for utilizing the brand style guide based on the communications channel or stakeholder
Create a framework for applying our brand identity across communications and materials
Ensure our visual identity aligns with our mission and values
Provide tools and recommendations that our board members and volunteers can easily use moving forward consistently.
We see this project not as a one-time deliverable, but as a foundational tool that will strengthen our messaging, save volunteer time, and improve our ability to engage supporters and funders for years to come.
Our board and core program volunteers are fully aligned on the importance of establishing a clear, cohesive brand identity and have explicitly prioritized this work as a strategic investment in our organization’s next phase of growth. We have internal buy-in to adopt and consistently use the resulting brand guidelines across all programs, communications, and platforms. We have a small, designated project team that will serve as clear points of contact, provide timely feedback, and make decisions efficiently. This team has the authority to approve deliverables and ensure momentum throughout the project. We are committed to respecting volunteer time through clear scopes, organized materials, and prompt communication.
