We are seeking a volunteer to conduct a user experience audit of the current site, a review of the proposed design direction, and information architecture recommendations for navigation and page structure. Deliverables may include prioritized recommendations, example page flows or simple annotated sketches, and guidance on expressing concepts with graphics. Specific pages and assets will be discussed with volunteers. We might benefit from help with the writing as well.
A clearer UX and site architecture will make our programs, coaching, and resources easier to find and understand, increasing engagement with women leaders and partners. Volunteer input will directly shape the redesign to help WIA better support and amplify women leaders working on social and environmental challenges.
We have an existing site and are mid-redesign while working with a graphic designer. Details about site access, current design files, stakeholder goals, and timeline will be provided during interviews so volunteers can hit the ground running and collaborate effectively with our team and designer. We also have about 80% of the copy written.

Organization Mission

Vision: We imagine a world where the barriers to women realizing their full potential have been eliminated, and women leaders are solving the world's social and environmental challenges, enabling people and the planet to thrive. Mission: To unleash the potential and increase the influence of women leaders in social and environmental change globally. The Women’s Impact Alliance (WIA) empowers women in social impact by giving them access to professional leadership coaching, skill-building workshops, and trusted peer-to-peer forums. Our program participants, who we call Catalysts, are emerging and established women leaders in the field of social impact. Our nearly 2,000 graduates represent over 90 countries around the world. Our Catalysts include nonprofit leaders, social entrepreneurs, scientists, environmental experts, activists, policy-makers, artists, and more - all working to solve the greatest challenges of our time.
