We are seeking strategic, capacity-building support focused on funding strategy and organizational sustainability. Specifically, we are looking for advisory support to design a clear funding mix, develop a 12–24 month sustainability roadmap, and strengthen our readiness for institutional and corporate partners.

While this project falls under fundraising and business development, we are specifically seeking strategic advisory support focused on funding model design and sustainability planning, rather than hands-on fundraising execution or grant writing.

The volunteer will work at a strategic level to help us clarify priorities, align funding approaches with our program model, and create a decision-making framework that leadership can use beyond the scope of this engagement.
Through working with our organization on this project, the volunteer will support our mission by strengthening the systems that allow proven reentry programming to reach more justice-involved individuals across Georgia. This project directly supports our goal of helping formerly incarcerated adults build the skills, mindset, and stability needed to succeed long after program completion.

By helping us develop a clear funding and sustainability strategy, the volunteer’s work will enable our organization to move beyond short-term funding decisions and toward responsible, long-term growth. The outcomes of this project will guide how we expand access to structured personal development, life skills, and workforce readiness programming—both in Metro Atlanta and, through virtual delivery, statewide.

The impact of this engagement extends beyond financial planning. A strong funding strategy allows our team to focus on delivering consistent, high-quality services, strengthening partnerships with justice-system stakeholders, and maintaining long-term relationships with participants. Ultimately, the volunteer’s contribution will help create stability, continuity, and opportunity for individuals who are navigating reentry and rebuilding their lives.

This project offers the volunteer a chance to apply their expertise at a strategic level, knowing their work will have lasting ripple effects for participants, families, and communities across Georgia.
My team and I have prepared for this project by establishing a clear program model, defined curriculum, and active delivery partnerships that give us real operational context for this work. We have internal alignment around the purpose of this engagement and a shared understanding that this project is focused on strategy and sustainability—not short-term fundraising execution.

We have gathered and can provide core materials to support the engagement, including program documentation, curriculum structure, budget information, and current growth plans. Leadership time has been intentionally allocated to ensure consistent participation, timely decision-making, and responsiveness throughout the project.

We are prepared to implement the outcomes of this engagement by using the resulting funding strategy and sustainability roadmap to guide leadership decisions, prioritize funding opportunities, and inform future partnerships with institutional and corporate stakeholders. The recommendations will be integrated into our planning processes and used as a working framework as we scale responsibly from Metro Atlanta to statewide virtual delivery in coordination with justice-system partners.

Our goal is to be an organized, engaged, and decisive partner—one that values volunteers’ expertise and applies it in meaningful, measurable ways.
