Work with staff to define ideal board member profiles focused on agriculture, develop outreach strategies, and draft clear recruitment messaging and outreach templates. Specific target audiences and timelines will be provided during volunteer interviews.

Recruiting board members with agricultural expertise will strengthen Uptown & Boogie Healthy Project's ability to expand access to fresh, nutritious food and bicycle education in Harlem and the Bronx, improving programming, partnerships, and outcomes for low-income residents.

Details will be provided during volunteer interviews. Our team will collaborate closely with the volunteer, share context about current governance, and review drafts so recommendations can be implemented into our recruitment process.
